Naidex 2010 - Stand C64
Geberit is delighted to present its ground-breaking AquaClean WC to visitors to the Naidex show, and to reveal how it can make a profound difference to people’s lives.

The Geberit AquaClean 8000plus Care WC is a product that promotes independent living for users in their own homes as well as in a care home or hospital environment. It has been developed to improve the quality of life for the elderly, sick and people with disability who have difficulties using a conventional toilet. For the majority of people, needing assistance to use the toilet can be the most humiliating aspect of being disabled, elderly or sick. Their quality of life, and the self-esteem felt from claiming back this vital element of independence, can be elevated to new levels with the help of the Geberit AquaClean WC.

The Geberit AquaClean WC uses water for personal cleaning, so there is no need for paper. It can be operated without pushing any buttons and is thorough, safe and hygienic. The cleaning process is gentle, comfortable and soothing. Most of all, it allows the user to re-establish independence in using the toilet in privacy, rather than relying on someone to help them.

An inclined shower arm provides a hygienic wash, which is disinfected after each use so it is always clean and germ-free. It can be programmed with individual settings for water temperature and spray arm position. The dryer has a programmable temperature option, an unlimited time duration and switches off automatically when the user leaves.

The Geberit AquaClean has some impressive, innovative features that can really make a difference to the user. The pulsating spray option, for example, has been proved to stimulate bowel movement, to alleviate the discomfort of constipation.

The Geberit AquaClean can also be used by people with severe mobility issues thanks to its hands-free remote and infra-red operation. All wash and dry features are activated by waving with a hand or foot.

With the help of a product specialist, specifying a Geberit AquaClean WC can be tailored to every individual’s needs and is available as a wall-hung model.
